How It Works

AHP owns, deploys, and maintains remote production workspaces in operators’ homes.  These workstations include industry standard monitoring, communications, audio, and any specialized equipment needed (EVS LSM-VIA, Hawk-Eye Replay Controller, etc) to perform standard production operations.  We maintain redundant internet service as well as redundant power at every AHP installation.  Because of the significant investment in the resiliency of each workspace, they are designed to be semi-permanent and not something that is shipped around.  When a company wishes to engage an AHP-enabled operator, they will hire, schedule, and pay that operator based on their normal arrangements with that operator.  Separately and additionally, the company will engage AHP to provide the production workspace in the operator’s home.

Production Companies

When a company wishes to engage AHP to provide production workspaces for a particular event, all AHP workspaces are available for use in 2 ways:

1. Hardware Only

This means the company will have access to all hardware at a particular location, but the company will be responsible for establishing connectivity for comms, monitoring, and device control.  VPN appliances and any additional company required equipment would be shipped at the company’s discretion and AHP would ensure workstation hardware is configured to client’s specifications (IP Addressing, software versioning, etc).

2. Hardware + Connectivity

This means the company will have access to all hardware at a particular location and AHP will facilitate all connectivity for comms, monitoring, and device control.  This would involve shipping AHP equipment to be installed in the facility where the production is taking place and AHP would manage connections between production location and AHP workspaces in-use for that production. (This option coming in 2026)

**Important: In both cases, company must hire, schedule, and pay operators based on their normal arrangements with those operators.  AHP does not provide payroll services for operators.**

If the operators a company wishes to engage are not currently AHP-enabled, a company can sponsor installations into their desired operators’ homes. Contact us for more information.

Operators

Want to work from home, but not sure how?

AHP is looking to expand the number of production workspaces deployed all the time.  We work closely with every operator to ensure a seamless installation experience – you should expect nothing less, it’s your home!  Once the AHP workspace is installed in your home, you are now AHP-enabled and can work from home for any company that engages AHP to use that workspace.  You will be paid for your work as you normally would from any company that hires you.  Instead of going to an event location or REMI facility, you can now work the event from home.

Interested in getting an AHP workspace in your home?

Currently, the only way to get an AHP workspace is to get sponsorship from a production company. Once a company sponsors an installation in your home, you are free to work from home for that company as well as any other company that engages AHP.

In 2026, AHP plans to introduce a path for operators to directly invest in an AHP-workstation in their home. Join our mailing list below to find out when this option goes live.
